 | Minavox Sponsors “Run The Dream” Campaign for Autism Spectrum Disorders - Submit Your Message Of Support
We're pleased to announce our recent sponsorship of “The Jonathan Howard – Run The Dream” event. In efforts to raise awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), Jonathan Howard, a McMaster University alumnus who initiated the “Run The Dream” concept, will be running over 9,000 kilometres across Canada starting on March 25th in St. John’s Newfoundland and ending in Victoria, British Columbia approximately late November. We're hoping your video messages of encouragement will serve as motivation during his long journey. |
 | Helping to Raise Awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorders Through Personal Stories
In co-operation with the Run the Dream campaign, we're inviting individuals with ASD, parents of children with ASD, family members, and caregivers who are interested, to conduct a short interview via a webcam and share their story with other Canadians and the world, in their own words, discussing; the child(ren); how autism affects them, their family; the support they currently have access to; and their view of what else their Provincial Government, or the Government of Canada, could be doing to help children with an ASD and their families. Run the Dream is going to save all videos which are submitted up to the time they finish the Run The Dream campaign and then create a library of these videos, which they will present to each Premier and the Prime Minister. In our view, there can be no more meaningful testimony than the faces and voices of those Canadians with the greatest interest. |
